Hey guys just throwing out a feeler for my Datsun fairlady Z that i may be interested in selling .. potentially. Its an original RHD uk model 1974 Datsun 260z 2 seater , original engine with (what i was told 45k on the clock) matching numbers 2.6 straight 6 that turns by hand , manual gearbox, interior is there including dashboard centre console and seats - original wheels wolf race slots with classis tyres to boot, original steering wheel aswell Now this is not for the faint hearted and will need a full restoration from bottom up, if your good at body work then that will help, the firewall alone is worth aout £1200 for RHD converions and thats what the z farm down south are charging alone for the wall, looking for £2800,(sounds alot i know) bare in mind these go for 5k in similar condition for left hookers imported into the uk, once fully restored have been seen to go for £25k upwards, heres some pics ( i did warn you its some work )
wings are rotted and tailgate has been used on another 260z but front subframe is there gearbox engine wheels interior dash etc all there.
I take it the floors, sills, boot and firewall would need replacing? Whats the roof like looks a little bit 50/50 ?
Update with more pictures looking for £2000 passenger side wing is pretty perfect i have the drivers side too and needs a bit of welding on the front part headlight embesslements are there need smal patching air intake is there carbs are there and perfect rear lights are spot on and ready to go front bumper valance / spoiler is there bonnet is there front subframe with suspension is there rear subframe is still on and rear wheels roll engine has 86k on it and crank turns / fan still turns aswell dashboard is there with all dials Firewall is pretty much perfect rear strut towers are like new fronts need patching both doors are there passenger side needs replacing but drivers is very good even have the keys aswell
Intresting but the price is way out for the condition and parts included ive seen rusty but full cars go for around the 2k mark. pm me if your intrested in offers
