So the starter motor in my JZA70 has packed up and its easier to fit a new 2JZ JZA80 starter.

Only problem i have is that the plugs are different and i want to fit it properly. Toyota need the code off a starter motor plug before they can order it apparently so can anyone help?

Can be from a turbo or NA 2JZ JZA80, all you have to do is unplug the starter and read the numbers written on the plug.

If anyone can help id really appreciate it.

    Cheers.

Can't help with the plug but it's really cheap to refurb the one you've got tbh mate.

It will be the contacts that are the problem, replace them with a new plunger and it will be as good as new- 10 minute job.
