My S14 has gone. Therefore... For sale, the nicest wheels/tyres I've ever had: Manaray MS-6 3 peice splits, 17x9j, ET35/ET25 (IIRC, no stamps). Forged centres, spun hoops. loads of room for big brakes under 17"s. These are sat on my old car, small arch roll, with 30mm spacers front, 20mm spacers rear. As you can see, it looks manly enough. rims are not immacculate. the two front lips are dulled and need re-polished. They look great, still, though. The above pics are only a month or two old. pics show one front and one rear, for comparison. One of the (totally fake) Nismo centre badges is missing. You can replace these easily enough from ebay (or put whatever badge you like on them lol) Come with Federal RS-R track tyres, 225/45/17 tread depth 3.9, 4.0, 4.1, 4.1. One has been slashed a little from an arch rubbing (swapped to the inside and is 100% safe - I've had them at 160mph+ on the autobahn, plus numerous drift and track days!!!!) Considering that there is loads of life left in the (very grippy) tyres, but to get a quick sale for some JDM loveliness, the price is £550 collected from Wigton, Cumbria. I may meet part way for fuel money.
come on, fools, someone buy some sweet wheels for a bargain price. Want some funds, so try me with an offer...
bump. i will split the tyres if anyone wants them seperately - £150 for all 4 tyres, £350 for the rims
Hello all, Sorry for going AWOL, life got in the way. These have literally sat on a shelf for months and months until I got around to doing something with them. I've removed the tyres, and repolished the lips, they look "on fleek". Not perfect, but very very good. £300 collected for decent bare rims, anyone?
I guess they're more of an acquired taste, but I do keep coming back to this thread and resisting Photoshopping them onto my car...
I also keep coming back to this thread, i like them. Whats stopping me is once you add tyres and spacers its nye on £1000, which leaves you in wide Work territory. Dont think im knocking the price, as I think theyre a bargain, just not for me at this moment in time!
You mean, you buy the Work wheels for £1000 and THEN add spacers and tyres. Don't kid yourself. Buy bolt on spacers for 70 quid a pair if you look hard, that's all I did. I bought these in horrible nick for £200 a pair, that's just what they were worth, a few years ago. Obviously they are in lovely condition now. I suppose there's just an influx of brand new cheap AF wheels these days, so everyone turns their noses up at S/H wheels unless they have a metre of dish.
I was trying to be positive not sure why you got defensive. I was referring to used Works, as an example. As said i do like the wheels and think its a very fair price. Im surprised they have sold as well.
