Hi I have pxed a soarer v8 and its been sat on my drive for a while. A few issues mainly the dash not displaying mileage which is around 91k was in km until 71k so it is a low mileage engine. It currently doesnt have an MOT. I was wondering if it will pass MOT without the mileage counter working and if it was worth putting an mot on or breaking? It doesnt look like they are worth much anymore? I was hoping for 1500 complete car is this realistic? Advice is appreciated
Im located in aylesbury. Its not for sale yet. Just debating whether to put an mot on it or not. It certainly wont be sold for 300.
I paid £600 for a lexus rx300 the other day, doesnt mean every rx300 I come across is worth that.... To make it clear, once again, the car is not for sale yet. If it was there would be a proper for sale advert with pics and description.
Howdy, V8 Auto Soarers in standard trim are usually worth about £600 - £1000. If you break them up, they are worth more, mainly because the engine etc is worth about £550. The only time they are ever worth any decent money is if they have been manual converted and setup/modified tastefully. A decent, clean, well modified and manual SC30 can be worth around £5k (similar price to a 1JZ manual car) Is it worth putting an MOT on it? It depends what sort of condition it's in, whether it's an active suspension car etc. Also, whether you think it'll pass first time. It's definitely not worth spending any money on.
Its a uzz31, its got active suspension, electric seats etc...etc.. think I might stick an mot on and then put a proper advert up on ebay. If I dont get what I want it can sit on the drive for longer. Doesnt appear to be many more v8 soarers around atm
