So I recently came across a lot of tires that were either new or had lots of tread, but have small sidewall holes.

I underestand they cant be repaired for road use and are dangerous, but I was wondering about the possibility of repairing them for drift use only?

Was thinking of putting a patch on the inside.

    Thoughts?

It's pretty unlikely you'll die if one loses pressure whilst drifting.

I guess the big question is whether with the constant flexing of the sidewall (particularly when transitioning) the plug would hold air for long enough to make it worth while. I suspect it won't, but if it's going to be cheap/free to try then it's worth a shot.

My friend had a tyre with a small hole in the side wall we told him not to use it but he used a blackjack plug thing and it held up no problem but I presume depends on the size and where exactly the hole is. For track use I'd say give them a go if your getting them for nothing just use your head and leave the ones your unsure about alone
