I have a 2006 Ford mustang and I am trying to turn it into a drift car and I don't really know where to start
Nothing don't even look at it, learn how to throw the car and you'll be one of the few in mustangs that don't do lazy hydro drags.
Yeah. Because you need to rip that E brake and then y'all need to power over. That is HOW you drift ¬_¬
Whats an E break? I mean, I know its the handbreak,, but why do the Americans call it an E break? It cant stand for emergency, because, well, thats going to go wrong! As others have said, if it hasnt got an LSD just weld the diff and go have some fun. Just find somewhere safe & legal to play, start off trying to do a controled power slide donut, then move onto a figure of 8. This will get you practicing your throttle control.
Most cars in America run automatic transmission. In an auto you put the box in 'Park' which locks the transmission in place stopping the car from moving. That means the handbrake is now a secondary brake, only needed in an emergancy if the Park brake on the transmission fails.
Don't they call it like an emergency brake? Even though you shouldn't pull it in an emergency... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hang on then, if were talking E-brake is for Auto's, americans have that wrong then when refering to using it for pulling a slide?
Just the generic name it's given. When was the last time you saw someone actually keep a pair of gloves in the glovebox?? Usually it's full of old receipts, sweets and pens.
