S15 1jz gearbox options

    Just started my 1jz swap into my s15, and when I say started I've took the sr out and bought a 1jz vvti. I currently don't have a gearbox. What are my options? R154 is big money. ABC BMW box conversion is 2k+ price of box. anyone else know any cheaper but effective options? Thanks

    Hey man any luck so far? You can pick up a BMW 330d/530d box and get the conversion kit that will be the easier way. I'm sure conversion kits are around £1700 with a twin plate clutch and gearboxes last time I checked were selling for £300 but slot of people using this method now so sure gearbox prices hiked up.
