So little update on the car , the rear camber was getting a bit annoying so I got myself an adjustable rear beam so I could get rid of some camber and correct the toe and I have to say although I can't get it to 0 taking away what I could has made the car feel so much better to skid and drive and also the tyres wear more even so I can get a lot more use from them . Now the Saturday just gone was my birthday and what better way to spend it than doing skids [emoji39] , so went to swaffham raceway , it was my first time out there and to be honest I was a little nervous of the big steel wall haha , but after a few goes out I forgot about it and just got on with it and had an awesome time with friends , close skidding and some brilliant runs loved it . Anyway I'll post some pictures - Saturday morning got everything ready Than it was off to swaffham , had a little break for food and drinks on the way [emoji39] Got to swaffham got everything unloaded and did some skids .
Not really much has changed over the last couple of months I've just been enjoying driving / skidding the car . I do have a BGW now though Still really looking forward to our private day at Driftland in August , really can't wait to get out there and kill some tyres with my mates . Ok so I have now got all my bits to refresh the clutch system and give it a new lease of life as while I've got the box off I may aswell , then my clutch turns up today Can't wait to get it fitted and get the car back on its wheels it's been to long haha and driftland is only getting closer just under 4 weeks to go !!!! Well with driftland getting closer and it's about due anyway she's had another full service and I thought I'd give this water wetter a go as its got good reviews so we will see . Well nothing has really changed with the car but she's still skidding strong , Norfolk and swaffham pics to follow and she's been getting very close and Personal with doors haha [emoji1591] Norfolk She left her mark And some from swaffham last night In other news I passed my trailer test and purchased a tow car . Since swaffham was my last skid day of the year she's now tucked away and the stripping begins , it's about time the coilovers had a refresh as they haven't moved for over 2 years . Not a fan of winter time but atleast it gives me time to get bits and bobs done . Lower arms ( e46 ) are coming off aswell making way for extended e36 arms , hubs are already modded so they are staying put . Coilovers all off , will get them all cleaned and lubed at some point . New HSD front springs are here , wanted the front a bit stiffer over the standard springs and having the damping setting turned up a lot so now i can run these and have it on a much lower setting , if your wondering they are 12kg over the standard 7kg. But as I've had a little accident with my eye and I'm currently not able to see I won't be doing anything to the car till that's all sorted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
