So the story of this car starts off 10 years ago when I was 17 . I was in Hi octane imports yard picking up my cousins 1st 86 with him when I heard the lumpy idle of a SR with some wild cams . Once I set eyes on it instantly became a dream car completely out of my grasp being broke as a joke I couldn't have dreamed of affording it . The car was sporting a freshly smashed front bumper which looked like it had hit something during some Phat streeto skids.. Forward about 3 or 4 years I again came in contact with this rare piece of Japanese Art. I contacted the owner a few times after this and even nearly bought the car as a rolling shell before it underwent the RB swap. However it wasnt to be . Today was the day I finally managed to get a car I wanted for so long . Yes it needs some TLC , Yes its had some knocks and Yes it's Awesome .. The car had found its way to Germany in 2015 and after spotting it on Facebook I got on contact with the owner after some negotiation I wired the agreed price ,low and behold today it arrived after a 20 something hour journey which the owner "crazy c&*t" drove to Ireland .. Enough shit talk here are some pics and history. Spec to follow {} {} {} {} In Japan Circa 2004 {} {} {} When it came to Ireland 1st time round owned by Stewart {} {} {} Hitting the Nurburgring and some others of it when it lived in Germany for 2 years {} Awaiting the Ferry in France destined for Ireland once again {} {} Finally 10 years on I have it .. Plan is to give it a cosmetic overhaul rid any visual additions not to my taste that its acquired over the years and save all the original decals from Japan
Done some major work last night lol. Sticker bomb removal and any other stuff that shouldn't be on this car .
Haha that car came around, kinda unusual to see a car which got to mainland EU going back to the UK or IRL. Glad someone saved it from getting riced out!
Stewart Gordon's old car. He was the northern Irish owner of it. Saw him asking about getting someone to transport it back to NI. You must of got there before him!haha Lovely machine tho, look forward to seeing it about
Yea haha I was onto Stewart over the years a few times and even during the time I was buying it . He decided it was no longer suitable for his needs . I intend to take good care of it . He done a good job keeping it in one piece over the years. Cheers for the positive comments lads . Ganadors unfortunately not for sale . However I have a pair of s14 ones for sale
Finally got home after being away in france working . Gave this beast a wash and quick inspection. Great power which is nice lol Bought a BN front bumper which arrives Monday the current URAS /326 half and half combo isn't great .. Realised it had some sort of quick release sunroof too which was funky
Cheers dude Picked up a BN bumper. Closest I could get to the 326 . Probably will modify it to make it more visually similar. Also picked up some front fenders for my JZX90
Some updates on this Eastern delight {} Bought a set of 4 18x9.5 et12 TE37s . I will of course be keeping the Bee*R wheels too Got round to lowering her to give back that low wide look it's been lacking for a while.. {} {} {} {} {}
