soooooooooooooo cars got a six speed after a massive ball ache... done a load of slips at a few events... got a full set of wheels finally, done a few shoots, broken more parts, hung with some homies... some pictures! then got crashed into by Heyglen! but he welded my hub up real good, so got me home!

An update since theres a new flashy DW forum setup! Swapped out my repaired hub for a fresh one, think i need to do the other side soon as the wheel bearing has a hilarious amount of movement! {} Got a new Vertex wheel <3, wanted one for years but import costs just made it silly! {} Got some new wheel nuts (really wanted to get the flashy 326 Power ones which i will have to soon) but these did for now... {} Drove to a countryside pub and made allot of sparks on the way there and back {} Booked in ages ago with Huxley Motorsport for a cage and a few other bits and the date soon came around! so had to strip the full interior (kept the headlining in and the pillar trims ect) {} {} Had to cover the new wheel to keep Huxleys greasy mitts off it :B {} The only reason to get a cage for me was because nigh on every practice day now requires a cage.. and also the way i drive it.. its most likely the safest bet.. I wanted removable door bars and a removable cross section (so the rear seats would still be useable to some extent) and Huxley was more than accommodating with these requests (even keeping the interior trims in, what a babe). Drove the car there and left it in his capable hands and it wasnt long before i was getting sent progress photos of how the work was coming along! (DEM GUSSETS DOH) {} {} and nice and tight fitting {} {} {} {} {} Then one of the other jobs was for a rear Jacking point, due to the length of the boot, its just a bit of a cunt getting to the diff all the time..... and the rear towing eye has taken a fair bending now.. Sits nice and snug behind the bumper! {} Next up was to repair my damage i caused on the rear 1/4 from the wall at DL (running forever closer and closer to the wall on ever decreasing grip tyres ment carnage was the outcome) He cut the boot skin damage off and made another one <3 {} All collected and extremely happy with the work! {} {} Next up is a few things.. I have a new kit on the way.. and eventually will get it all painted etc... (will mean rear arches need attention but need to keep the stock look to them, dont want any 'bolt on' style looking arch, i want to retain a silky flow.. But before this i want to get the alignment bang on and dial a bit of camber out, which means i will need to get the adjustable arms (camber) on the rear shortened as they wont pull in enough unfortunately... as im tired of shredding only part of the tyres.. Then make the arches fit perfectly... then paint obviously many more things id like to do but im in no rush... Enjoy
Not just yet.... finally may have an end to my various gearbox problems.... have done a few more things as its just been sitting on axel stands for ever.. when i get a chance ill update!
Reviving a old thread but Fairplay to you Steve after being put through the mill with your jzx90s you still come out on top! After the last few days reading this thread (in my breaks) it has given me the push to get my jzx90 mark 2 up and running how I want it.
ok... so heres some photos and shit.... ive tried to keep the order of when it happened but yeah.. Fitted a HKS thermostatic oil cooler with filter relocation, unfortunately for the position i wanted i had to get rid of the AC condenser which sucked a bit as the AC was mad icey {} A random photo {} some gloves {} {} So did what i think was STL2...... {} {} {} {} After this the box was fucked... so when shifting into either 3rd or 4th it would do a badboy crunch.. So looked about got a gearbox company to rebuild it.... and they said a week and it would be done... from memory it ended up being 6 months... had to try and find them as they wouldnt reply and constant bullshit... turned up and there was no company there... sick... Then eventually after another load of bullshit i got back a locked gearbox (literally does fuck all) and my money back luckily.. So ended up getting a replacement box.. had to swap the bell housings over as my original one was modified to go around the starter motor... {} {} {} {} Took all the turbo side off and tried to make it not shit.. took the wastegate apart to put a new spring in and a new diaphragm... i didnt realise how it all came appart and got smashed in the face by the top of a Greddy 60mm External gate... had to get a tooth surgically removed as i snapped it haha Got a new boost controller too {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
