Hi All, I've not long started converting my E30 to V8 POWAAAAA. I'm looking for some help with my gearbox woes. The main issue I have is because I'm going to be running an M62, I'm going to need a box suitable for housing the crank position sensor as I believe M60 engines took a reading off of the crank where as the M62 takes it off of the flywheel? (please correct me if I'm wrong). Boxes do crop up now and again, it's looking like its going to be an M5 or 540i 6 speed jobby if the following isn't possible. I have come across a few posts/comments of people modifying the removable bell housing off of a ZF auto box (5HP24(which I have)) to fit on a manual ZF box such as the E39's 530d box. Does anyone have any info on the above? Thanks
