Long time since i've updated this, seems a good time to bring it back to life now that Driftworks has updated.

SR heart transplant is in and working, not without its problems though.

I knew it had vvt rattle from what the previous owner had told me, but golly. It was deadful, like transit van deadful. Then it dumped all its coolant on the drive home from picking it up, thankfully managed to get it home as it was only a short distance from the unit.

I then got the leaky hoses replaced and decided to take it on a work trip, after only having it on the road for 4 days after getting it back....

Driving through Brisol town centre with what i thought was a loose downpipe was pretty embarrassing, untill i opened the bonnet and realised my turbo had snapped off 3 studs.

Got it recovered and limped it to a garage to get fixed up. As i had a drift day 3 days later.

I booked up to Thruckmorton drift day which is only 30 mins from where I live. Only managed to get about 5 runs throughout the whole day. Most of my time was spent under the bonnet fixing problems like intercooler piping popping off, coilpack #4 popping out, having to rebleed the radiator, getting a puncture on my front wheels and to top it off a nasty missfire at the end of the day which left me having to drive at 30 mph on the backroads home. Wasn't an enjoyable experience.

I spent a couple of days with my mates sorting little niggly jobs which to be honest should have been done before the drift day. Then one day i decided to sell the Works. Dont hate me, just fancied something different.

With the money i got from the Work wheels I managed to get the scrotas and get a new VVT sprocket fitted, so not all bad in my opinion.

Then it was back to Thruckmorton for their last drift day at the airfeild, much better day this time, car felt great and pulled really hard. started to develop a boost cut at the end of the day, so i'm going to try to get a HDev stage 1 ecu and some new coilpacks to see if that will sort it. Fantastic day skidding with mates though!

Thats it all up to date so far, put a catch can on it today, but thats all ive done since the drift day. Plans are sort the gash bodywork out, paint it then sell it. So keep an eye out.
