Aye no worries , well it has been so far but its a CA its going to go at some point haha. Some people might say use a 5w40 others may use a 10w50 but so far 10w40 is working well in my car after about 8k of mixed driving and changed oil twice in that time

It's impossible to advice on which oil is right for your application without knowing how it's being used.

Getting the right viscosity is a good start but there's a lot more to oil than just how thick it is at what temperature...

Is It a daily driver, a weekend toy or an all out driftcar that gets taken to events on a trailer?

10w40 or 10w50 are common weights for a CA, fully synth of course.
10w40 is probably correct for one thats been rebuilt, ensure you use an oil pressure gauge obviously.

Most decent oil brands would be ok, you'd only need something specific if you were racing it.

Forged engine can hold tons of power, more than the stock gearbox can hold anyway, but you've only got a T28 on there so both will be totally fine.
I assume you've got an uprated clutch as well?
