I've just bought s14 complete hubs with s14 lower arms. I'm hoping to buy a big brake set up for it when money allows. Then I'll get my bc coilovers off my s13 & see how they fit up.
I went to cars & coffee on Sunday at Queens square. Had a lot of interest in the car & Everyone wanted to know what it was. A mate just sent me a few pics from Facebook. {} {} {}
With regards to the intercooler setup I would just like to see how the pipework is routed, how you finding it on fuel?
I'll try & get a few pics today for you. As usual it all depends how you drive it! I think book readings are about 23mpg but I only use it as a 2nd/3rd car so doesn't bother me if it's worse. I do think there is a fuelling issue as there is a strong smell of petrol in the engine bay. I might fit a innovate wide band kit & gauge just to check. I removed & split the rims yesterday. Lips are being polished & the centres are going gloss black. I'm doing a pair at a time to keep Gloria rolling. {} {} {}
Mine reeks of fuel and returns 7mpg.. spoke to the lad with diggory on here and he says he returns 19 no matter how he drives it so I definitely have a problem
Gotta love the weird JDM shit!! Love it! even removing the white trim bits made an instant difference.
I've finished the refurb on the front wheels. Had the outer lips polished, the centres & caps powder coated in light anthracite & a high gloss finish & I cleaned & refurbed the inner barrels. I bought all new hardware & rebuilt them yesterday. I also test fitted my wilwood set up behind to check clearance. {} {} {} {}
I removed the front bumper to cut off a few random brackets & remove the huge fog lights & brackets. While it was off I cleaned & painted the bumper support & gave the fmic the once over. I'm going to remove all the pipework too eventually & paint it all black. The idea is to mesh the fog ight holes & behind the radiator grI'll. {} {} {} {}
Changed all the interior lights to led. Also refitted the greddy gauges. I've ordered some bride recliners as the front seats aren't comfortable at all. {} {} {} {} {}
Chopped up & modified my original rails today. Only managed to fit the passenger seat as it got too cold in my workshop. Really pleased with how well the brides match the oem rear bench seat. {} {} {} {} {}
Finally finished the passenger runner. Stripped it back out, ground down the welds, primered & painted it. I fitted some plastic table feet into the box section to tidy it up. Hope to get the drivers seat finished tomorrow. {} {} {}
Drivers seat now in & finished. I've got some interior trim bits to do & hope to get the TV & surround installed soon. Plans are to retrim the arm rests & modify a Nissan Skyline centre console & mount an s13 handbrake lever so I can bin out the footbrake pedal where the clutch pedal will eventually go. {} {} {} {} {} {}
Fully excellent project! Can I second a request for photos of the engine bay? Around the turbos and manifolds etc? I'm a fellow nissan bore. Have been drifting a z32 since 2011ish and have skylines (inc a 4 door which this has inspired me to drag out of the corner! MPG wise, I dialed my zed for 2/3 years with a NA VG and saw around 20mpg. Most people in the Z world tend to agree that you get a few more mpg from a Turbo (weirdly) when pootleing around anyway.
Thanks so much for the positive vibes. I used to have an r33gtst 4 door back in the day. I'd love to see pics. I'll get pics of the engine bay this week as I'm pulling off the bumper again & removing the ac pump & radiator. Mpg is around 20 for me too but I'm a bit of a lead foot as I love the turbo on this thing. I do plan to do some engine tuning in the future including upgrade turbo & injectors. I've just bought an innovate wide band aem to tune up the fueling. Biggest plans are manual conversion so I'm on the look out for a complete set up from a z32.
