So here she is! Won it last week at auction so obviously still abit of a wait til i get it but i couldn't wait to post some pics, 2000 reg with 137,000 kmh so that's like 80,000 ish miles? But anyway seems to be a pretty clean example with couple mods like a HKS hi power exhaust and a set of alloys but not sure what they are so if someone could identify them?

Plans are obviously to change to a sr20det but im in no rush, different rims, seats and steering wheel for now, not sure what else ill do later on.

But that's it for now until i get it!!

Just had a actual list of mods already on the car.

    -Zeal coilovers
    -HKS Hi Power exhaust
    -AM tension rods
    -Final Speed A-Tech monoblock wheels

Not personally heard of zeal, how are they?

    Few more pics

Ahhh not bad then haha, ye the auction sheet was pretty good with only couple of scratches and dings but all in all looks reall clean.

Not to keen on the alloys as there kinda small but I'll see when its here.

    Oh it sure will!

Guessing a sr20det from a s14a will fit? But do i need the engine bay loom?

Also can anyone tell me wether my power steering pump off the sr20de will fit the sr20det?

    Cheers

a 14a SR will fit but the engine loom and start/charge looms are different, only a few changes including wiper and indicators., you will also need an ignition amp form the donor 14 and possibly the two blue relays in the passenger footwell next to the ECU on a 14a (can't remember what they do..fuel pump is one i think)

im not sure about the PS pump

if you require someone to build you a conversion loom Norfy (on here and SXOC) is superb and a true gent

Right ok, im just making abit of a list before i get the car you see just so im ahead of myself and can get straight into it, need to source an engine first.

I know this has been asked 10000 times so thats why i haven't started a new thread about it but the whole sr20de+t... alot of people say its a waste of time and it'll blow up eventually and oil squirters and so on, will fitting forged rods and pistons combat that? Or is it not the stick n/a internals that fail when you add boost?

I see alot of youtube channels where they turbo n/a engines and install forged rods and pistons plus the oil feeds and so on but never bother about oil squiters? Or do most n/a engines have them and it is just the sr20 that needs them to be turbo'd.

Sorry as i say its been asked a million times but i couldnt find the answer anywhere else.

    Cheers

If you don’t have an engine yet I would strongly suggest you buy an S15 SR20 with associates engine loom, it’ll literally be plug and play

The prop is much thinner so yeah get that. Engine wise JDM Garage, S15oc, SXOC and there are plenty of Uk facebbok pages

I've looked down the rb25 route... prices not that far from sr20's but its all the other bits.
