Haven't updated this in a while. It's been a long ass year! I was on my 3rd RB turbo by Christmas got a brand new clutch master and slave done as I was having trouble. Got the car back Christmas Eve and on Christmas Night there was a car meet and of course doing a few duggits turbo went pop. 3rd one down the drain. A turbo kit popped up cheap but nobody noticed so I made an offer and picked it up. I was going to just throw it on n hope the little 20 would last but then I said why not get some injectors too and map it. {} Then I found a front facing plenum off a guy about an hour away so grabbed that and put it on {} Then off to the welder it went for intercooler pipes and downpipe. Also picked up some Work XD9's and some Gulf Stich Wheels. {} Unfortunately had to wait a while for the car as this was during the really bad snow. But got it back and got mostly everything fitted back up and looked like this. {} Stupid happy and couldn't wait to hear the little RB20 with the new top mount setup and downpipe etc. I got it all road legal and put it through an NCT. I didn't put in injectors I just left the boost down 0.5 and drove it. This is the car back together and on the road. {} {} Again I was stupid happy to be back driving something cool. Altogether was nearly 6Months of waiting. I booked the car in for mapping. Car has a decent spec list now. Can't identify what turbo it is but it's some sort of GReddy TD05/06 GReddy Manifold GReddy Wastgate GTR Injectors Walbro 255 All one piece cold and hot side intercooler piping. Nistune ECU {} Got tuned and made 262HP @0.9bar I was a little disappointed but car was getting a bit smokey on the Dyno and diagnosed as turbo seals are crapping themselves. Brought it for a spin and it is 10times the car it was before. Cannot wait to rebuild the turbo. Tuner reckons easy make into 300's with 1.2-1.4bar. Just been driving the car the weekends since been too busy with work. Also sold the XD9's to a friend and picked up some WEDS Kranze ERM's put them on n really loving how the car is looking now. {} {} {} {} {} Plans are to pull the turbo back off send it off for a rebuild. Get it back together and run back down to tuner for more boost. I also got a mad notion couple weeks ago to sell the car as I wasn't driving it much but think I'm going to hold onto it as I really do love this thing. Plenty more stuff to come I'm sure.
{} THAT looks the bollocks mate! I never sign in or post on here but felt compelled to tell you on this occasion! keep up the good work!
Thanks man! No the Verossa is my best friends. I may get him to do a build thread. He bought like this Automatic 1JZ just coilovers and wheels {} To this R154 manual with Vertex kit and a ball of other things {}
Haven't updated this in a while.. Cars still going and still driving it as much as I can! Just been working out all the kinks and had to replace what went bad! Went to the Irish Motor Festival back at the start of the summer, got onto the Speed Hunters stand and I was delighted! The night before I was down in my friend's house cleaning cars and he had just bought a bgw but didn't want to install it on his car after mocking it up so I said fuck it why not throw it on mine for the day, always wanted to see what one would be like. Here's a few pictures.. {} {} {} {} I liked the spoiler and a lot of people loved it too but I thought just wasn't as good looking as without having a wing. So I pulled it off again. On the way home from this event I thought I felt the clutch slipping but wasn't 100% as it was wet out at the time. I then got the chance to meet Neil From Juicebox and do a photoshoot with him and a small few videos! Which I cannot wait to see the write up. But sure enough I was right about the clutch and on the way to the photoshoot in 4th gear I came into boost and started slipping bad eventually 3rd gear start slipping bad too but 1st and 2nd warent too bad. {} A Super Single OS Giken popped up and I made a deal for it. Came with a brand new disc, I just had to get the flywheel re surfaced. I picked it up off a guy while we were down at the annual Juicebox BBQ. {} {} It was a great summer! I got the clutch fitted by a friend and car felt even better than before so made me think it might have been even slipping slightly after dyno. I've just been driving the car since and working out what it needs etc. I got the turbo seals done so I'm due back down to dyno very soon and I cannot wait. All going well I'll be doing another drift day end of December. Fingers crossed anyways haha. Also picked up some spare wheels but I'm looking to sell and find something cooler. Im in love with dish wheels on the car now so it's hard to go back to 1 piece. {} If the kit is still in one piece after the drift day I want to pull it off and do some fiberglass work and have it somewhat clean for next summer.
Bit of an update. {} Went back down to tuner last Friday! Bit of a nightmare but the results are awesome. Before I went down I got a friend to change spark plugs for me while I was working, unfortunately for some strange reason this made the car have a missfire even though was perfect before. I hadnt got time to pull them back out and check them etc so on the way down I bought another 6 hoping the ones I got were just a bad batch or somehow they were fucked already. Got down to the dyno anyways told the tuner and he changed them for me there and then put it on the dyno and still misfiring. It was weird as they were the only things changed so how could anything else be faulted. Long story short we tried 2 sets of my Coilpacks and both still had a miss fire, things warent looking good! Luckily his friend in the garage had a set of splitfires so he threw them in. Car ran perfect and better than ever even made more power from before on same boost. He then start playing with the boost controller and hit 1.4/1.5 bar and this was the result. {} He said the car took it well but no way in hell he felt comfortable leaving it at that boost level. So he played around with the controller and got it tuned on 1.1bar and made 320bhp which I'm delighted! Could of asked him for more but ims looking for reliability for a while and to do a few drift days. That's it for now sourced a set of splitfires so the car will be 100%. Also hoping to get out on track 28th of this month all going well.

Awesome build man! I've been following this on insta as well but it's really stunning what power the td06 is making at just 5k rpm. Especially cause I'm in the process of a turbo swap as well Keep it up mate
Thanks man! Done some research too its only a TD05H not even a TD06 haha. Impressed myself with the numbers myself and sad I can't keep it that high but stupid happy with how it is now at 320HP
Always wanted a Cefiro but my R32 is the next best thing so I'm happy but still room for a Ceff if I can ever afford one in the future.
