    Greetings.

1st time posting here so hello everyone.

Im looking for recommendations on what campany I should use to purchase and import a AE86 Trueno from Japan to the UK (Scotland). It would have to be an all inclusive service. The purchase, the import, all relivant paperwork and legal requirments, and delivery.

I have found a couple, but im hessitant to use one without knowing what the community thinks are the best choices.

Would appreciate any advise here as I've never imported before.

    Cheers.

Welcome to here as well ;)

There's a good source of bad reviews for Japwestmods here.
    As per the other forum:
    Torque GT (based in Devon)
    JM Imports (based in Newcastle)
    Japaneseusedcars.com

Also worth getting in touch with Andrew Strang from Finalboss! as he has a lot experience importing cars.

It is a bit, they are quite helpful in offering pickup from airport etc.

My brother and mate have imported 3 cars between them, all from Torque GT and their first 2 were trade ins, makes it a bloody long journey haha.
Adding another 2.5/3 hours on top won't make it much better!

    Well recommended though!

I found JM Imports to be very rude when I was looking for a car. Got the feeling that becuase I wasnt spending GTR money then I wasnt worth their effort.

Josh at Gorilla Imports is very good in Skelton, Cleveland. http://www.gorilla-imports.co.uk/

Any specific reason for an all inclusive import? a lot of the other bits are fairly easy

It may well seem easy to someone who has done it before, I have not.
Knowing whom to contact, and how to arrange everything so it all coincides with each other time and date wise is a hassle I have no expeirence dealing with.
While my budget would certainly like to save some money by not paying a premium for a company to do it all for me, I dont have much choice as I really don't know how I would do it myself.
