So I thought I'd post something up here as I've been building this and Instagram is getting a bit boring to follow after reading a few threads again and reveling in the fact this forum hasn't died... Here we go. So long story short I saved for a house deposit went to the bank and was told they wouldn't give me one yet as I was self employed, threw a bit of a strop and bought my chaser instead. This was all I was shown a relatively straight bar the shown damage, non aero, factory manual car the deal was made and I waited for it to come I collected the car from port of Tyne and drove it for an mot, passed with no problems after getting it a battery as it was absolutely dead when it came off the boat... Wouldn't idle wouldn't even charge It also became apparent on this drive the clutch was done for aswell. So it got a battery, an mot and put away while I waited on the dvla to do their stuff {} {} {}
Once it was registered I took it with me weekly working away and then popped to see Ben Hau who did the clutch/service as I just simply didn't have any time for it being self employed now {} {} {}
Then I slowly started to find some things I wanted. Mainly factory aero which jesus I wish I'd got a car with already because it was not nice to find over here. Got the front lip local as well as a spoiler since mine just had holes in the bootlid. I then bought some custom Made vented wings as mine were rolled by stevie wonder in Japan. Finally I found the skirts and rear lip. I also got some vsmx in 9.5 10.5 which were fine but now looking to change the fronts for something wider for the wings. {} {}
And really that brings us up to date, I have an hks intercooler coming from up garage atm as well as some super now tie rod ends, rod extenders, new hubs and lower arms. It already has a full set of kts rear arms, boost controller, turbo timer, fujitsubo exhaust and I installed a jpipe delete aswell {} {}
I'm intending to, body wise I'm gunna run a dmax spoiler and maybe a vertex front bumper and then get a full shoot now I'm in a bigger unit.
It came in with pre japan drift damage on the osr so it would be rude not to carry on with it... Just tidying it up to my style and mechanically as it feels a bit vague currently. Etcs controller is here and intend to get it out properly next year
