I just recently bought an s14 zenki as my first drift car and was wondering what mods i should do initially just so that it drifts well and is a nice platform to start with. I have a list of stuff I wana do on the car overall which ive attached but would really like to know the first essential mods just incase im missing stuff. For your first drift car you need 3 of those things....

    Seats
    Coilovers
    Diff

A reliable engine so service the one you have with quality oil, new plugs etc.

    Agreed with killboslaggins
Dont even put maintenance stuff on the list all of that needs to be done and checked over regardless of drifting.

Do 3 things to drift LSD or welded diff first then seat and coilovers.
Then seat time and get stuff as you feel it out.

I would say from your list, Headunit for Super Eurobeats.. 5 Lug for 5 lug Rota's and definitely the Hydro! Your going to struggle if you dont go for those 3 things first.

Although, A v8 swap with 600hp might be better than the 5 lug to begin with.. Toss a coin.

45-50psi in the tyres is normally a good drift mod too ..
