Hi lads, I'm new to driftworks. I've been a big fan on drifting for years and it was Tokyo drift that really got me into it. Once i knew about drifting i was always watching it on youtube. And from there my obsession with the skyline grew, and it was Ken Nomura's 4 door skyline that really grabbed my attention. And finally this year after years of obsessing about it I finally got one.

I had been watching the Japanese online auctions for sometime through http://www.jdmauctionwatch.com/. And after weeks of watching I came across this Grade 4 1999 HR34 skyline with a RB20DE NEO engine in it and 18000 genuine Km on it. So i decided to bid on it and won.

The car is immaculate inside and out and so to the under side.

The car arrived into the country in April and once in the country I got the Vrt sorted and got it into storage as I haven't the money at the minute to get it on the road.
Hopefully it'll be on the road for next summer once I've the right parts bought for it.

It's nice to get my hands on an untouched and an unabused model and basically a blank canvas. Cant wait to start ordering parts

I ordered my first parts from RHDJapan. I got a set of Uras Type-R side skirts which were made to order which too 4 weeks to make. But they where worth the wait as their good quality and well made. Looking forward to test fit them

I also got a Origin Carbon roof wing which is good quality for the price i paid, the pics dont really do it it justice.

I picked up a Nismo Chrome gear knob which is a nice size, even though I'm not mad on chrome this caught my eye.

This is only a few off many more parts to come.

Got around to test fitting the carbon wings that I got for the skyline. I was quite happy with the roof wing which fits nicely.
I wasn't sure about the boot wing as it didn't look as good as the Fiber-reinforced plastic wing, but once on the car I'm happy with the look off it. Theres a few minor flaws in the fibre but nothing to worry about.

    spoilers rear side.

I think theres a bit too much going on in the rear off the car so it'll be de-badged to give it a cleaner look.

The boot wing sits nicely with the lines off the bootlid.

Also threw on the Nismo gear knob which has a nice feel to it. Needs a new handbrake button aswel to match the gear knob.

After a few set backs I’ve finally started to get my finger out with this car! Once I started getting the funds again I purchased the rear half bump. It’s a genuine URAS rear half bumper supplied by JDM distro. The lip then was supplied by a friend which was also a Uras lip. But it’s a nice and subtle lip because it not low lying and it matches the lines of the skirts and bumper nicely

He matched the paint fairly well to the original paint. The kit fitted fairly well and I was delighted with his work. It totally changed the look of the car. I paid a fair bit for all the bodykit but was worth the money cause they where made to a high standard. The original paint just needs a good polish to bring it back up.

I picked up a few more parts for the car during the drift works sales. I got HSD coilovers which I’m yet to put in ‍♂️ And also a set of 18x9.5 7twenty style55 wheels. It took me ages to settle on wheels cause there’s such a huge choice of wheels out there, finally settled on these because I like the concave on them and also the colour is class as it looks different from different angles. Decide to go for stretched rubber for these and ended up getting 225/40/18 Bridgestone Turanza T001. Once the wheels where fitted I was absolutely delighted with my decision on the wheeela as they change the total loom of the car and the concave of the wheels make them stick out from the arches nicely. Now to eventually get the coilovers in and get it dropped a bit so it’s sitting nicely. Also need to do an overhaul on the suspension bushings as they’ve never been done so if anyone knows which ones would be the best to ordered your opinions would be much appreciated.
