I have a few questions regarding wiring on an is300 manual conversion. I have had a read online and seem to be getting mixed opinions. Some say you need to add an emulator and resistors to remove limp mode and eml. Others say to loop the neutral wire so the car thinks it's in natural. And this will have the same effect. Could anyone help clear the confusion up. Thanks.
Most nissans only requires the neutral wire to be earthed out so id imagine the Toyotas/lexus would be the same?
i previously connected the STA and NSW wires together and made the car flat as a fart to drive. now ive just grounded the NSW directly to the ECU pin E2 and its transformed the car, so much so its killed my clutch when i plant my foot down!
Cheers for the info. What is the nsw wire for? Does it go by another name. Can't find it on the pin out diagram.
NSW - Neutral SWitch. i assume its a 2jz gte? ifso its the N pin plug B2 pin 13 though in willbo 666 it does state that this pin needs an ignition switch + input (confusing because mine needs a ground signal) http://wilbo666.pbworks.com/w/page/42173082/2JZ-GTE VVTi JZS161 Aristo Engine Wiring
