    Hi,

I´m looking for some camshafts, inlet and exhaust, for my CA18DET in good useable condition.
The manufacturer is not as important as correcto duration and lift.

    Prefered camshafts are:

    256° x 8,8mm lift (HKS)
    260° x 8,8mm lift (Tomei Pro-Cams, Lashtype)
    260° x 9,0mm lift (Camtech Camshafts)
    264° x 9,0mm lift (HKS)
    264° x 9,3mm lift (JUN)

    I´ll also take 256° x 8,5mm lift from theses companies or OEM CA16DE inlet-camshaft.

The camshafts must be lash-type, because I´ve got NO SOLID LIFTERS.

If someone hast got only one cam for sale please send me a message too.

I´m looking forward to your offers,

    cheers

    NismoScooby

    Hi NISMO,

If New is good, we can supply any of these brands direct from our Japan office to your door.

Ping a PM to @roughsmokeparts on FB and we can fire you some details.

    Hi, unfortunately I´m still searching.

I also need cam-slide-sprockets for CA18DET JUN, HKS, Tomei or other reliable parts. New or good used condition.

    Thanks for your help.

I don´t mind buying new camshafts. I wanted to buy new ones but there is another problem.

HKS and Tomei camshafts are no longer being manufactured.

Normaly JUN are too expensive and they don´t realy fit in my setup. At the moment even JUN were better than stock cams but it depends on the price.

Till now I´ve found few shops who´ve got Tomei cams in stock but shippingcosts are rude.
Including customs and VAT, I have to pay nearly the same as custom-made camshafts will cost in Germany.

Looking at these facts, I thought there is a better chance to get some here in good used condition or perhaps "new".

Thanks for the advice but I don´t have any other OEM EX-cams in good condition.:(

The engine should generate about 400hp, when just EX for IN-cam is enough, that´s fine. Turbocharger will be EFR 6258 T4 TwinScroll.
If anyone has a tip for good combination of camshafts, don´t hesitate to tell.;)

I don´t want to spend much more than 440 gbp on new tomei camshafts.
That has been the price for new Tomeis 260° x 8.8mm lift, included postage to my door from UK.

Many shops in the world claim the cams beeing in stock but all of them have to order these from manufacturer.
I tried to order the cams in Japan already but there it´s the same problem as in Europe or USA.
Nobody can deliver these Tomei ProCams, because the production has been stopped.
As mentioned before in Australia there is a shop who has got some.
I know good camshafts are worth their money and buying them new is ok but I think everybody understand my decision to refuse paying highly overpriced shipping rates.
Perhaps anybody is in Australia on holiday and can put the cams in baggage? :D

As far as I know Tomei USA is working on new profiles for CA18 PonCams 258° 8,5mm lift. They will be released in August or September.
My engines build is scheduled in June at the latest in July.

Tomei camshafts does not necessarily have to be. For me increased valvelift is more important than high duration.
So other manufacturers who meet these specs are welcome also.;)
