Hi guys, I decided to introduce to you my 93’ Skyline R32 GTST! It’s a car with 156.XXX kms This car was modified in japan and get some parts since she’s in Europe (07-2009). Engine mods: - HKS GT-SS Turbocharger ( for the moment ), - TRust Intercooler with custom piping, - DW550cc injectors, - Yellow Jacket Coils, - APEXI air filter, - Nismo FPR, - 3’ JAPSPEED turbo back, - 6 pads Clutch ( I don’t know the brand ) - HKS Map Sensor & IAT Sensor Chassis & Body mods: - Nismo Front adjustable upper arms - Tein Superflex Coilovers - Project Mu Brake pads - OEM 16’ Wheels - Custom Made Front LCA - FIberglass Front Bumper (GTR) - GTR Front Fenders, hood, trunk lid + Spoiler Interior: - 7’ touchscreen + RearView Camera - APEXI AVCR- Type R - HKS f-Con Vpro 3.1 - HKS Turbo Timer (Vintage) - Nismo Gear knob The project I plan to do on it: - Put an HOLSET H1E - swap the injectors with some 850cc - R8 Coils + swap the connectors - ARP Headstuds - Cometic MLS Head Gasket And try to reach my 400-500 HP goals This car isn’t dedicated to the Drift, but more to enjoy it on Open roads and on Grip Track event !!! Yo What's up guys, Here is some updates !!!!!!!!!!! Regarding my RB20DET I discovered that there is a problem with the engine. it turns very lean and the Yellow Jacket coils are at the end of life ( 2 are cracked and 1 coil spring is burned). To be safe, I decided to make some checking on the Engine itself ( Compression test and leakdown test) just in case. UNFORTUNATELY, Compression are OK on 5 Cylinders ( The cylinder #2 is faulty), This fault provide to me the hint that something happen, so I decide to use the Leakdown tester & i get some air coming from the Oil cap filler and the dipstick pipe. then I decided to remove the engine and provide to him a Youth cure. Begin to Remove Both Manifolds. {} {} Then TADADA Voila Engine is Out, and let me the place to clean this 26 years old Engine Bay after. {} {} Then I decided First to Rebuild every Engine & gearbox Wiring harnesses. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} Then It's time to put the RB20DET a Youth Cure, Removing every parts for inspections. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
Engine is Done and place back to the Engine bay with the Holset H1E, Still waiting to finished my Hybrid Intake manifold ( I will put some pics tonite) Put some oil inside for wash it and put 10W40 or W60 new oil in it afterward. {}
The Hybrid Custom made plenum ( RB20 OEM Low section / RB25 Type JUN Plenum) is back, Need a good sandblasting and a good matte polishing finition.
