I was trying a 3.5 inch lip onto my wheels earlier to see what the fitment would work out like, I had this lip at home and hadn't used it before, the face is very loose in it, should it not be a tight fit against the centre diameter? Or do different lips have a different diameter?
    Thanks

Have you tried putting all the bolts in so it centers the face up in the lip correctly?
That gap shpuld be fine once its all bolted and sealed

No I haven't tried them all in yet, I'll give it a shot today, but the gap seems pretty even the whole way around even with two holding the face in,
From any I have split before, which isn't many, I thought the face should be a dead tight fit against that centre circumference

Thanks I'd imagine they should be, the face was tight coming out of the old ones but I'm not sure if that's due to corrosion, even still I don't think the gap should be that big

All my wheels bolted together are the same. Just clean with a wire wheel so all the surfaces are spotless you should be sweet. And make sure the rubbers on the valves are in good condition
