For sale is a used Holset HX40 with the following specs: - 60mm inducer, 86mm exducer 7+7 blade compressor wheel (largest factory HX40 compressor wheel available) - 76mm inducer, 64mm exducer 10 blade turbine wheel (higher flow over the more common 12 blade turbine) - 18cm T3 internal wastegate turbine housing (will need welding shut) This is in overall great condition and one of the better spec HX40s out there with the big compressor wheel and rare 10 blade turbine. As you can see the entire turbo was painted green - typical of Cummins on certain engines from the factory, not a bodge job done in someone's shed. There are marks and light corrosion here and there of course - it's an honest used turbo, not just blasted from top to bottom and made to look good (but actually junk) like turbos from a certain other seller... No axial play in shaft. Minor radial play (typical and very normal). No damage to compressor wheel or turbine wheel. Spins freely.
