Seen this going around a few US/Japanese groups but I think it's worth sharing here. It seems that a large US parts importer known as J-Spec Auto is heavily suspected of knowingly importing stolen chopped cars or at the very least they have been handling tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen parts over the years. I don't see any mention of a EU shop involved but it might be worth keeping an eye out if you see something online that looks a little too good to be true.
Bit of an update it looks like the story is gaining traction in the general media in Japan. And word on the FB group is that one person is talking with the police who is believed to be involved but not much else has been said on that.
