Was wondering if anyone knew the best place to fit a rear fog light on a jzx100 without having it hanging down from the bottom?

Cool. Was it just a case of changing the wiring and using a nice bright red bulb?

I did it on an import honda i had. Just about to do it on the S13 as i've fitted koukis. Got an LED bright red bulb from HERE (looks clear when off), put it into one of the reverse lights, alter wiring, job done:thumbs:

Why not hang it under hte bumper, then after the MOT remove it, or if you want it to stay, adjust the bracket so it's out of sight.

How many rear brake lights does it have? If there are four like a Soarer or Supra you can wire a couple of relays to switch one pair of brake lights to be the fog lights.

The resistors are there to fool the bulb failure warning unit.

I know it's very old thread now, but I've done it yesterday - bought rear fog light switch from some toyota paseo which was the same as in chaser and fitted it straight to the place it should be. Behind the plug there was all the wiring ready so the only thing I had to do was to connect wiring plug in the trunk with the rear fog lights. Ah, forgot to mention - my rear lights (looks like some aftermarket chinese stuff similar to these: http://pl.aliexpress.com/item/32957126677.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.1f5468f96RmhkU&algo_pvid=ed134684-f23f-47d2-b88d-ac0f65e33aad&algo_expid=ed134684-f23f-47d2-b88d-ac0f65e33aad-14&btsid=6106801f-d2af-46d7-a2e7-da9b7036b73f&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_9,searchweb201603_52) were already equipped with rear fog light bulbs.

This is how it looks now:

Hey, I'm currently adding a rear fog light to my jzx100 chaser and I ordered the paseo fog light switch, does anyone happen to have a pin out of the paseo fog light switch?

    Thanks

    Hi,

in my car the wiring was right behind the plug covering hole in the dash (as on my pic). All I had to do was to plug the switch into the wiring and find correct wire in the trunk to connect rear lights.

    Hey, thanks for the reply,

So I found the plug for the fog light switch, the previous owner zip tied it in the corner, but I'm having a problem finding the correct wiring in the trunk of the car, was the wire in the standard rear light loom or did you have to pull a wire in?

    Thanks

Hey I'm now I'm your situation, I've got the switch there, can hear the relay doing something, but no fog light (which was suspected lol).
Did you figure it out or just wire something different?

    Hey,
I ended up figuring it out.
The fog light pin is on the right rear light plug, you can open up the plug by prying it open with a screw drive. Once the plug is open you can either switch on of the reverse light wires to that pin or you can add a sperate wire. I just added a wire and wired it Into the left reverse light.
