    I believe it's a fake.

    The best way I have seen to tell is whether the side bolsters slope down like yours (fake) or square off at the front (genuine):

    Fake seats are of unknown safety so personally I'd bin the seat and just sell the rail on. Last thing you want is to sell the seat to someone who uses it, crashes and dies because it failed spectacularly.

    Bit much to just bin it.

    Would be good for a simulator rig type thing.
