the 270R was of S14 origin i believe, only a handful made, not literally a handful of course... but not many.

270R = SR20DET with 270bhp from the factory

SR20 Gold top. Looks like there are 3 variants:
53J 2L- Flat Pistons, highport, egrless and gold/black Valve cover (*)
53J 2R - Normal pistons, highport, egrless and gold/black Valve cover
53J 7R. Gold Valve cover with black strip down middle, egr-less, tubular exhaust, highport

So to know what you have you'll need to look at the head to find the code cast on the cylinder head. Although chances are that its going to be a non-turbo highport engine that you have there.

Lucky man the gold tops had bigger inlet valves and fuel injectors you can safely rev these engines to 13,500 (but maybe not for long) i had one in a SR13 import, mine hit the rev limiter at 9,500
