I didn't realise that my name just said 'chris'. I suppose that was probably a bit cryptic. I got much better towards the end, but I must admit that probably had a lot more to do with me switching from 900 to 180 degree steering. If only I could do that in a real car, I'd be well away! If you want to know how you can spot me, look for the car spinning round and round on its roof like a giant metal breakdancer. My number plate also says M1NGE

God damnit. I want to get a wheel for my laptop so I can join in without having to go round to my mates to join in the fun. That said, my framerate will be a tad below his 90fps on mulitplayer. HMM... do I need to build a new PC for myself JUST TO PLAY LFS? PLACE YOUR BETS... NOW!
I got my frame rate limited to 30fps and i manage fine, pc is older than my nan...1.6ghz, 256mb ram, 64mb graphics, totaly standard since the day i bought it (all my money went into the bmw) and i dont get any problems on lfs unless theres like 10 people surrounding me.
i played lfs on my pc when i had just reformatted with nothing on it 560fps and it was so so smooth now im getting 100 and its so so sloowww
I was there for a short time.... the short autocross track is pretty good. I need to get a wheel though, drifting with mouse is too difficult. You turn to much and it just scrubs the front wheels and slows you down
I was in for a while last night. Mt LFs name is GNFDori. There was some good drifting. I had to leave though as i had been playing for 5 hours straight At times i was getting 16FPS, but fuck it it's all good dave
I thought my pc was shite and I am getting about 50/60 during that DW online session - maybe try a lower resolution or refresh rate ?????

when i had my ati radeon 9600xt, i had about 40fps, and i considered it really good, and not laging alot, but now i got ati radeon x1600 pro, and it seems the same, so i think it's normal! adam
Well, don't know about the Radeons but my mate's pc comfortably holds 90fps on LFS. Will check his setup, but I'm sure it's not Radeons. In fact, I don't know anyone who plays LFS with a Radeon that gets above 60fps. Ben
lol i play this most the time when im bored i own a team of 12-13 drifters we play mostly S2 full or somtimes demo in our team room called Worx some of you that play might have seen me aroudn before as Worx Zerohour
