Here is the thread who’s getting me hot !!!
At the beginning, I didn’t want to take out the engine, I just wanted to take out the head. But I started to defuse the engine, and I couldn’t stop myself, so I took out the engine!

    EGR, easy to remove

    Nismo engine mounts

Stock clutch, good condition ! And the flywheel is like a new one !!!

    I painted some parts

    Miss head

A brand new rocker (my head was already done… I don’t know if it’s a good sign or not...)

    All rockers and camshafts

A little house for hydrolic lifters

    Good night lifters

    Beurk…

The 2 flywheel bolts whose posed me a big problem !!!

My little thing to take out valves

On your left, the shim that I found in the oil pan. On your right, a piece of a gear found in my gear-box...

    One of mine conrod bearing

    Valve stem seals

The engine on the « engine stand »

    A little more shiny

The stock head gasket size after taking out the head

    Valve springs

    My poor head

    Thanks

I thing the headwork would be too long for this head, I already had a broken rocker arm that the old owner changed, but it was rebuilt like he took everything in his hands, he shaked it, and he re-assembled it :D :euge: I found a shim in the oil pan, the broken rocker arm was the 2nd on the exhaust side, the new one was the 1st on the same side :euge:  :smokin:

So, after all that things, I think to buy a better head (and something young like 50 000km).

I have to buy some camshafts, HKS 256° IN and 264° EX, but stage 1 or 2 ???? Because a friend told me he took one lap in the white ProDrift S15 at the Paris Tuning Show 2007, and it was like a taxi to 4/5 000 RPM, and after, it was no limit for the cluster :wack: I don't know exactly what turbo I will buy (between a used HKS GT2540 from JPS-Trading, a brand new TD06-20G in T28 core or a Garrett GT3071R, depends of my bank account  ), I think to buy stage 2 cams, but if it's really like ON-OFF, I don't know if I really would like it.

And maybe some other mods :D bigger throttle body, maybe a surge tank, GReddy oil pan, lighter pulleys, and some other little bits :D

He must have big tits if he's working for the sun.

Can I ask why you are going for a cam that is 8 degs longer on the exhaust than the inlet?
