Look for a V8 swap guide, they relocate the stock booster behind the front light, the linkage isnt too complicated.
Are you located in the states? You should get quite alot of parts for the 2.3, fuck the volvo head, far too much hassle and a cossie head wont fit...

Its not about geting it siting right its about steering geometry, just do a image search on E30 uprights vs E36 knuckles, the lower mounting point...
Obviously, the front 5x120 conversion uses stock E36 knuckles, the usual bending of the arms works shit though, youll get the wheel gaps looking...
