looking at buying some 15x10s to fit on my rx7 fc3, but unsure as to what tyres to fit.
the offset of the wheels is -32 tho, so they are going to stick out a hell of a lot.
basically i want tyres that will stretch pretty easily onto the rim so that i dont have problems at drift days fitting tyres.
but also want to keep the tyres quite narrow so the n/a engine doesnt have to much work to spin the wheels.
i will build custom arches to cover the tyres. so basically i just want to find a tyre size that fits reasonably easily and will look good on the car, will then offer them up and then make custom arches for whatever tyre is left to cover.
to give people an idea, the wheels will probably stick out the std arches by around 65mm.
    thanks

TyreStretch.com - Image Library have a look on here and you will see the minimum size also i remember reading about someone a few days ago struggling with a 225 on a 10j but cant remember the profile

is that considered a large stretch on a 10j?
also i have found some arches that may fit the wheels quite nicely so i may not need much stretch, maybe best thing to do is fit the wheels and arches, and then see what tyres would be best.

Yeah, its a bit OTT though really. A 225 is more of a safe bet.

Wouldn't go any narrower than a 225 on a 10j ad I had issues with 215's popping off the rim

When did they actually pop off? What use had they seen?

    not with 15" wheels though?
the 15's will have more sidewall so easier to stretch a skinny tyre

completely depends on the tyre and rim though
