hello when i turn 16 in november i want to get a moped or a 50cc motorbike and i know i need to do a CBT and i was wundering when i can get my pervisonal lisence? i read somewhere i had to be 17 but my brother got his on his 16birthday so im a bit confused about how old i have to be to get a pervisonal lisence and before someone says " google is your friend " i have looked/searched and how much does a CBT cost ?? thanks in advance junbojames
yeah can get your provisinal when you are 16 but think you have to be a few months from your 17th well this is how it was in my day cause my mate past his test on his 17th

i know that you can start driving wen your 17 but at the moment im just thinking of getting a 50cc motorbike so i can get to santa pod and sliverstone to watch and go for passenger rides p.s. whats the biggest size engined bikeyou can ride on a CBT ?? is it 125cc ?

you can have any bike with a cbt (compulsory bike test) i think, just have to take differnt tests for different classes of engine size. not sure tho, maybe some kind fella will confirm or explain, but its only 50cc when ur 16 me thinks

At 16 you can ride a 50cc and at 17 you can ride a 125cc both with a CBT. I don't know how your brother got his provisional at 16? Fella? Woman here

A provisional license for your moped is different to your car, same thing but has different things written on it I believe.
A 'pervisnoal lisence' is what you need to lean off the side of a motorbike to wolf whistle and generally letch at young ladies passing by. I don't think you can one at 16
I heard there's some kind of loophole in the law that lets 16 year olds learn to drive if they're disabled? I think this guy might be in for a shot!
