    Saw this today caning round.

Thought it was a RUF CTR3 (700bhp, 653lbft, twin turbo weapon), but looking on the wonderful internets, its different on almost every panel to all the CTR3 pics, its like a CTR3 on steroids, with different exhausts, different rear lights, bigger side and rear vents, bigger bumpers, bigger spoiler, bigger everything.

    Any ideas?

And yes, he had broken the spoiler somehow it seemed.

It is a CTR3.. I take it you're comparing it to the original press shots of a silver CTR3 concept that RUF released.. the "production" version differs slightly with a few different panel lines and a slightly different front bumper.

    No.

Im comparing it to the one Evo drove, a production car.

And its still different to the car today, different exhaust, bigger rear vents, etc etc

If it makes you feel good, yeah, but not really, as it looks nothing like the 'production' one Evo tested or any of the pics of the production ones on the net, hence the point of the thread.

Looks like theyve updated it, but aside from this one no pics seem to be around.

    Ah well, mystery solved.

I've seen other spanking production ones on the net with square rear exhausts. Something is afoot.

Looks like a VW Beetle that started a life of crime before taking vast quantities of steroids and crack in equal measures, before it had a prolapse resulting in that melted rear end and wonky spoiler

the wonky spoiler is obviously there to aid traction only on one side of the car.. thus helping to slide! it might catch on :wack: :p
