    kyb are good stuff, but for a few squids more you could prob get a second hand set of coilys.

    been looking for coilovers but cheapest i can find 2nd hand is £400, and i just cant afford it atm, need shocks for mot end of march, thanks for the reply !

    Im sure somebody will have some standard shocks laying about to get you through an MOT. Bump them on for the ticket and then feck them off again. Its only for a day, you don't even need to bother with alighnment.

    my cars lowered so cant use standard shocks can i???

    yes you can, unless then are hugely chopped springs. you should not have a problem

    I mean just throw the whole standard strut and spring in for getting it through the mot, then put your lowered stuff back on after or buy some coilovers second hand a fit them.

    I must have thrown 20 standard shocks away over the years, im sure somebody will help you out if you ask nicely, or flash them haha.

    cheers guys gonna take your advice and whack some standards on for mot, save the £200 i have atm and next pay day treat myself too nice set of coilovers.....p.s dont tell the hubby, im meant to be saving money hehehehe ;)

    like i said im clueless....so will need standard springs as well as shocks.. ???

    (p.s i know your all laughing now lol..but then i never pretended to know anything bout cars, i just like driving them ) ;)

    you need the springs and shocks complete. spare springs are of no use at all.
