Hello Drftworks... Well, I'm sure you have noticed a HHHUUUGGEEE delay in the release of Project 2... The original trio have gone their separate ways... Al Clark is now rolling deep full time at Driftworks, and with his own media company Trackday Films... Special K is rolling deeper in Bristol, working on his own project 'The Chronicles of Special K', a bit like the Chronicles of Narnia...but with less lions, and more cars... I (James) have moved to OZ, I have been working tirelessly on Project 2, and (Thank God) I'm almost done, to say sorry to the fans I will be offering Project 2 at a super special price of just 9.99 (usually 14.99)... I'm working closely with Gareth from Touge Automotive - The #1 pitstop for all petrolheads looking for new automotive apparel! Also producing premium vinyl wrap. and the DVD will be sold exclusively through this site... Here is a link to that latest teaser for those that haven't seen it yet... [ame=http://vimeo.com/13780495]Touge Heroes Project 2 Teaser 2 on Vimeo[/ame] IN OTHER NEWS... I am working with two very cool guys on a VERY exciting project, D1 Prodrift Australia...This is a funky fresh series that is set to tear Australia up with some very cool cars...and very cool drivers, We are securing our first venue as we speak, this is looking to be epic... There is a Drift school running in conjunction with the series, we have 3 fully spec'd S13'S as the school cars, and one very angry sounding RB26 (with anti-lag) as our Pro car... The series will cover all of Australia, with top prize money, a raffle throughout the year for a fully built drift car, and lots of other cool stuff... ALSO...Still in talks, but planning to invite the winner of a certain UK series an all expenses paid trip to OZ to compete in a round of D1 Prodrift Australia...driving the fire breathing RB26 S13... I will update as and when we have some news, I would love to see the UK drivers come deal some fury down under Like the Ashes...but on the track yo!!! Deepest apologies for delays in releasing Project 2, It is alive and kicking, Touge Heroes was always, and will be a 3 part series, with DVD 3 going to Japan... Peace out...Touge Heroes x
hopefully i wont have to wait 3 months for this one to get to door in the US. Tho the wait was highly worth it
Good to hear James, Hope all is well mate! Cant wait to see the new series up and running in OZ. Will be trying to keepup to date with that
James has been maddddd busy. Not only moving houses but also setting up a workshop here on the Gold Coast. He said he hasnt looked at the project in 2 weeks which is crazy considering he is like OCD with editing. hahah
The winner of a certain UK event gets a trip to Oz?? Would that event be JDM?? the one that was won by Luke Fink, Who is infact austrailian and also Aus drift champion? I say send Chapman, He's the best UK driver and doesnt have mega budget. Send him!
