Hi peeps. I know it's not strictly a drift car, but I thought I'd share my latest project with you all. I had it imported by Torque GT imports a few months back, who I must say were great. And after a good while sourcing loads of bits, and after a lot of help from Christian, Max and Dave from work and Julian from the Discovery channels "Chop Shop" we managed to build this. It's been a shed load of work, but I do feel its been worth it. I know its not everybodys cup of tea, but I hope you like it. Sorry the pics arn't great, they're from my phone. I have loads more, if anybody wants to see them or would like any info just let me know. My two babys!
Dude thats seriously awesome, but I would've changed one little thing. The bit where the lines continue from the front fender into the door. I would have added that. Makes a huge difference! See here:
Looks a bit wider at the front than the back. If you could beef up the rear a bit I think I'd really like it! The one in the post above is beautiful.
Yeah it looks a little out of proportion at the moment. But nothing that over-fenders and uber dishu can't fix
i like it, it was just an really boring car to begin with and now it looks good. just not a great fan of those exhausts
Overfenders on a 5-door estate? where you gonna find those lol And even if you do find them. They would look shite because it's an estate.
something im not quite feeling with this conversion. i dont know whether the front end is to flat and long or the windscreen sits too far back for my liking.
Appreciate the work thats gone into this too, but not my cuppa tea. R34-Stagea conversions works the best IMO
Im sorry you guys but I bloody love that Hes taken something boring and made it into something thats looks gorgeous Pull the arches, add some dish or spacers and youll be well away
you make me want one of these now. how much are we talking if i bring you a stagea to do the convertion?
I'd imagine it would be a fair amount, as I've seen first hand how much work has been put into this conversion.
Looks awesome ! Fair play to the work that has gone into that, what a transformation ! What parts did you use for the conversion ? I'm guessing not genuine GTR bits as they are ridiculously expensive.
I really was expecting a very mixed reaction. I love it, it gets more looks and draws more attention than my R35! I welcome any comments, so thanks to everybody for their comments. You can pick up an M35 Stagea for around 5k upwards. If you could source second hand parts, which are rare, I reckon that would be around 2-3k So with the car, parts and labour, I reckon you'd be into 10k+ I'm looking into taking moulds of the panels, so that would bring the price down loads.
