Not sure if anyone will be interested, but a few of us are heading over to the Nurburgring once again. The dates are March 23rd-28th. The rough outline is below; *Leave England on the 2am ferry from Dover to Dunkerque on March 23rd *Travel through France, Belgium and possibly Holland, and arrive at the Apartment in Germany *Have fun at the Nordschleife. *We will be catching the 8pm ferry on the 28th, back to Dover, and will get back in the Uk at 9pm (UK time). For those who love to drive, the Nordschliefe is the most challenging, and rewarding drive of your life. And to top that, on March 27th, you could drive the entire Nurburgring!! YES! They're opening the GP circuit, and you can drive that too! ROUGH COSTS Ferry - £50 *CONFIRMED* Apartment - £150ish (per person) 30EURO's per person, per night (including breakfast). Fuel - £200 MAX! (We have now done this run 6 consecutive years, with multiple runs each year. To date we are yet to spend more than £200 on fuel - With the exception of Ben) Food & Drink - £??? This is your call. Only you know how much you eat and drink. We usually budget for £150 as we g to a few restaurants every now and again. Namely Pistenklaus, and Pinnochio's. TOTAL - £550. Don't forget on top of this, you'll be wanting laps, which this year cost 24Euros a lap. (Ben Lovejoy's Nurburgring Nordschleife site) and any other money to buy memorabilia from the ring shop etc. £600 should be more than enough. **Ring OPENING HOURS** Th Nodschleife is open as follows; 23/3/11 - 17:15 - 18:30 24/3/11 - 08:00 - 18:30 25/3/11 - 08:00 - 18:30 26/3/11 - CLOSED (We can go karting or something this day). 27/3/11 - 08:00 - 18:30 (INCLUES GP CIRCUIT) 28/3/11 - 08:00 - 12:30 (Then ferry home) We will be staying at a Guesthouse which has 3 apartments. 1x6bedroom, 1x9bedroom and 1x10 bedroom. The owner has also said we can use his garage. Anyone interested, please send me a PM. The ferry needs to be paid for by the end of the month, as does a 30EURO deposit per person for the apartment.
