hi all, I'm runnin this on the subaru drivers club here in Ireland, link:

    RAFFLE!! MY00 Type R Version 6

If you're interested post here or send me a pm and I'll add you to the list.

I am organising the raffle of my Type R version 6 which has just had a full engine rebuild.

80 tickets are to be sold at €100 each.

We'll start by getting a list of interested people together and once theres enough interest I'll start taking money then.

I have this sorted with the police here and have a letter to prove etc.

The raffle will be held at whatever trackday/meet/show suits to get as many people there on the day as possible.

Names will be drawn one at a time, the last name in the hat wins the car, this is to make sure everyone is accounted for, and should make it exciting

The car (I probably should have washed it!):

I am driving this car every second day and it never misses a beat. Only ran on E5 with octane booster every time, not abused, always warmed up and cooled down properly and I only drive it on standard boost.

thanks, it's worked successfully for four other guys before so no reason it won't again! when the draw is made it'll be done at an event to get as many people there on the day as possible, and will also be recorded for those not there so there are no problems afterwards. if the winner is in the uk they can get a cheap flight to here and I'll meet them at the airport with their new car :)

whats stopping it is because I'm an honest person who's not trying to con anyone

everyones name will be on individual pieces of paper called out one at a time and put into an empty bucket, then drawn out one at a time until only the winner is left. I will have the draw recorded for anyone who can't be there on the day. no tickets will be 'palmed' or hidden or anything like that, in fact why would I bother once I have the money I need for the car why would I risk ''getting caught'' cheating people who are going to be standing right in front of me.

nah im not saying you're dishonest at all which is why i said im just playing devils advocate, its just there's been a couple of these raffles where the owners mate just happend to ''win'' the car that is all.

thanks cefiro_drifta, once people on the list don't go pulling out now when I go to collect money it should be ok, different guys with ae86's here have held four successful raffles in the last year so once everything gets sorted it should be fine
