The car was originally a standard, clean shell 2.0 NA automatic which was then converted with a rebuilt s14 SR20DET along with the manual s14 box, ancillaries etc in Japan prior to being selected and shipped to the UK late 2007 by Skylinepart.com - Japanese Automotive aka Hexham Scotty. The majority of parts in the specification list have been fitted and upgraded during my 3 year ownership. Most of the maintenance, parts installation and routine inspection work has been carried out by a rally/motorsport firm in Glasgow - K.B. Engineering. Pics: The bodywork and interior is clean apart from the pic above where a fleck of paint missing from the rear lower area of the rear wing and the pic below shows a scratch on the bonnet (visible only upon close inspection). The most recent major works were fitment of HSD CS2 coilovers, poly bushes and ball joints circa 2000 miles ago along with turbo and exhaust gaskets along with the usual routine lubing of spherical joints, geometry check etc. Comes with a packed wallet of receipts showing expenditure at circa £7k during my ownership. It has been my source of pride for the last 3 years and is my second Silvia of a similar specification and condition. I have a daily drive which is used as my main tool for travel, the Silvia has been reserved for pleasure. I've made the difficult decision to sell it due to being midway through a full-time degree in mechanical engineering. Not working full-time is taking a toll on my savings and I can't justify owning and paying for two cars at this stage in my life. I hope it goes to a good owner like my previous Silvia. MOT has 9 months Tax ends on June 1st Sale price is £8250 Please feel free to ask me any questions, my phone will pick up pm's. The photos above are very recent and I'll post up more pics of the sills etc when I find them. Email queries to bammybeverages@gmail.com. Not looking at part exchanges, although I can make an exception for a Suzuki Swift Sport (no kidding!). Cheers.
Yeah, seriously sweet car. I featured it a while back here: CARSPOTTING> Street Car Style in Scotland! – MotorMavens | Car Culture x Motorsports Photography Blog Good luck with the sale man!
Ah man, gutted to see you selling this.. For anyone interested whenever I've spoken to Am he's easily one of the most passionate car enthusiasts you can speak to, meticulously maintains this car. Pulls super hard, great car in both grip and drift use. If I had the money and a wider drivers seat id be round tomorrow bro
drove this when scotty owned it... not sure whats changed since then but it was a JOY to drive. so compliant and easy
Cheers Mitto, some of the changes include the suspension system almost completely upgraded with all rose joints changed to high load bearing items (mixture of Goldline/NMB), coilovers changed from Teins to Driftworks CS2's, Driftworks polybushes replaced the standard worn rubber bushes, a far better geometry setup implemented (advised from Julian Smith), superior tyres and corner weighting to finish off the handling side of things. Also bigger brakes, much better pads, power and response vastly improved via bigger injectors, Z32 maf, Nistune custom mapped, further weight reduction etc. Basically if you liked it back then in its old guise you'd love it now.
Absolutely loved this car when I had it, Louise drove it to a second place BDC Pro at Teesside so a very capable competition car.
Cheers Scotty Further update: engine oil was switched yesterday to ester based 5w50 Motul Sport + Nissan filter.
Amran is hugely anal about maintenance for this car.....and a huge anus for selling it. Trouble free skidding included in sale.
