    hey guys

wondered if anyone could post pics of their s14/a gauge installs and specs (i.e. guage sizes)

i'm almost settled on 3 60mm guages and looking for inspiration of where to fit them to make them look like they are meant to be there as not really keen on chopping dash or using one of them cheap ass universal pods??

i took the vents out made an alley template to fit the hole, cut 3 52mm holes in it. then i bonded it in with tiger seal left it to dry. then just a skim of filler over the top rub down and job done. then a squirt of halfords satin black lol

I chopped up a Subaru gauge pod I won off eBay for 99p and glassed it in and flocked it with a kit off frost.co.uk. Also chopped my profec in to it

not an S14.....but a home made gauge holder none the less....may give you a little inspiration

made a mould from mdf and body filler, gave it a good primer coat
    [IMG]

    fibreglassed it
    [IMG]

pulled off the fibreglass part and offered it up
    [IMG]

went mad with fibre fill , body filler and some paint to complete this for a friend
    [IMG]

then this for myself using the same mould and technique

That last one is very tidy!

For s14 simpliclity, I'd move the radio down a space (need to dremel) and install 52mm gauges above it.
