And they must have been really shit tires if they only cost a grand, it cost more than that for a set of tires for my old 120d. What a cheap skate lol Edit, Ok michelins pilots arnt bad but there's a lot better!
Ill see if I can get some this weekend, apparently its at Goodwood. BTW, relatively speaking, fitting £20K wheels to a £300K SLR is about the same as fitting £300 of wheels to a £4500 200SX .........
I think he means that at 1k the tyres are pretty cheap. But he's obviously been bummed for a set of runflats for his previous 120d in the past
I'm pretty sure if i was a bazillionaire i wouldnt go spending £20,000 on a set of rims. go buy a second car instead!
For £20k i was hoping they'd look a bit better than that? They just look "fairly" posh set of wheels but nothing that special.
Defo got bummed, 245/35/18 bridgestone potenza run flats, £270 each fitted. I really loved the run flats, no flex in the sidewalls This is a front tire after 15k miles then 4 laps of the nurburgring, in the background is a proper tire, 19" Michelin cup sport plus on csl wheels
lol at some of the comments, you forget that, to some people, money literally doesnt mean anything... you see a set of wheels you like, you buy them, if 20k isnt a drop in the ocean to you it could be £200, or £20k ..... oh to be in that situation!
