Whats the deal with shipping a Skyline/200sx to USA? Not for the road tho. Moving back to Florida next month from UK and wondering what the rules are importing a Skyline that wont be registered for the roads, just trailered to the track?
Just simply dont register it for road use. Import it as usual and thats it as long as you keep it on your own property and trailer it.
Get a container, take out the engine and box, remove the wings and bonnet, import it as spare parts and save on duty.
It'd probably be worth checking out the US skyline forums Grant, I seem to remember a thing not to long ago about guys getting their skylines seized. Google NAGTROC for the owners club, I think there should be some info on there but haven't looked myself.
