ok, i had to go there again! an s13:cool:

after getting the bug for another one i thought i would have a little look in the local free adds paper, and happy days, there was a 200sx for sale just across the road from my mums :)

after ringing the old boy how owned it, we arranged a veiwing.

its not in the best of condition, infact he was going to take it to the scrapper :( this would'nt do, so i had to save it.

theres so many things wrong with it that it should be in the scrapper but as it was so close to home i though i would take a punt and have a go at getting it back on the road again.

i picked the car up on my dinner break today but have'nt really had a chance to give it a good going over, its even still on the trailer lol not much rust in the chassis from what i can see:thumbs:

after a very quick look at it ive notice the following things that need to be sorted:

    *n/s and o/s headlamps missing
*wiring loom in n/s front of engine bay has been hacked to bits (not a fucking clue what was there eirther :wack:)
*brake pipes have been cut from the abs unit
    *abs unit removed
    *ca18det engine fitted
*ca18det engine fuck (headgasket/bottom end/totally shit the bed)
    *front brakes missing
    *rear lights missing
*door locks fucked (broken in to at some point)
*n/s door not shutting right (due to the brake in)
    *front o/s spring broken
*rear window rubbers fuck and hanging off
*mahoosive rust holes in the boot
    *exhaust missing
*rust on o/s rear outer sill
    *rear brakes binding
    *front rad mounting bit rusty
*rust on both front top mounts

and thats all ive found after a quick look:wack: i know there will be more but until i get it off the trailer and get a battery on there i will just be gessing.

    so the plans are:

    *kouki rear lights
    *coilovers
    *weld diff
    *bodykit of some sort
    *full respray
    *sr20 conversion
    *bushes
    *wheels

and what ever else comes up at the right price when i have the money ;)

heres some pics i took before it got to dark, sorry for the shit pics but it was dark lol

ok ive not updated this for a while now as ive spent more time getting parts and working on the fucker then taking pictures :(

i would've got further with this but i took a couple of days of with when i fucked my back up :euge::no:

first thing was to get it off the trailer and in the workshop, get it higher and start stripping it down for the rebuild:thumbs:

i did'nt get any pics as i was taking the engine and box out as i only get a hour on my dinner so i had to crack on

engine bay is now pretty much stripped down ready for prepping for paint so i will be doing that this week sometime but i do need to mock up the fmic first and get to cutting the hole for the piping:smash:

started on the wiring nightmare, ive got a new loom on the way and will do the ol' switcheroo when it get to me

removed the top strut mount braces as they were the normal s13 rusty shit, and that just wont do :D

    so

got the bastard cunting battery tray out of it aswell as i want a super clean look in the engine bay and the eye sour just was'nt doing it for me. such a pain in the balls to get out but it will be worth it:nod:

thats it for now really, but the next update should have some nice shiny parts going on or some paint:smokin:

i welded up all the holes in the arches and bulk head that arnt going to be used, just gives it a clean look as the standard s13 engine bay have more holes then a sieve :wack:

you should budget for about £1k depending on spec ect, you can get the conversion cheaper but you do get what you pay for, then you have got to uprate the fuel pump, also a sr radiator and wiring.

the loom has to be gut around all over the place dude, if you ever want it done just give NORFY a shout on here, he's doing my loom and for a price thats not worth me playing with it, plus he's a sound bloke ;) you cant go wrong with him.
