do you even know UK gun laws?

All fully automatic weapons are banned from the general public. Self loading weapons apart from .22LR are all banned, as are all cartridge pistols.

what this means is the nearest you can get to an AK is either firing a converted one with a manual single shot reload, or pulling the trigger really fast on a tricked out Ruger 10/22 with a big mag.

You can get muzzle loading black powder pistols including revolvers, in fact I always fancied one myself, but you have to belong to a fancy gun club and dress up as cowboys and ponce around like that. Or so I have heard lol

google the gun range in Bangor mate, i know they do sessions that are open to the public, and apparently have club guns there that you can use, they might be able to help you out :)

Most Firing Ranges won't let you shoot unless you have a firearms licence too.

I wouldn't say "most", the majority of ranges have a gun club, which non FAC holders usually join in order to get an FAC.

when i was in prague there was a place there you could use an ak but you wont get that in the uk.
ive been a member of a gun club and its not as simple as just turning up and firing a gun. i was on a waiting list for a year befor becoming a probationary member

i used to live in Abilene Texas. take a trip over there and find a place named (Anson) we used to go to the gun range all the time and i didn't have a license. ask for a guy called Wesley and say English Dave sent you ;)

i think you can go to France to do it to. i was going to go for training for a security thing i was taking some years back.

Cory - I used to shoot 12 bore and 22 on farms using my mates guns. Unfortunately he has now moved to NZ.

Lots of shite info above! Munkul is right on the laws. But you dont need a liscense to shoot.

If you want to shoot full bore or small bore rifles at a range you will have to be a member and this will entail getting a Rifle Association membership in most cases, easy and cheap.

At a range you can fire .22 or full bore rifles depending on the range and black powder pistols.

if you want to fire automatic weapons your best bet in the UK is to become an army cadet instructor. or a badman yardie

National Rifle Association of the UK | NRA | Membership | Overview

    easy and cheap if you:
a, have a FAC all ready
b, are a member of a club already
if you dont have any of theses its not so easy.

most places will let you shoot with a shot gun under supervision but rifles arent as easy to get into
