Easy guys, (pics at the bottom for the impatient ones lol) For sale we have here is my very awesome C32 Laurel, It's an amazing car which I bought over the winter as a daily, as the winter is coming to an end soon, It's time for it to go, It's a rare oldskool Jap for those who know. Only few left on the road now and even fewer in a Manual and in this amazing condition. Mechanically the car is very sound and well, drives lovely, all electrics and bits work including headlamp washers etc. The car goes sideways very well with the welded diff yet predictable so it's in good control. The gearbox and engine is smooth and lovely, I believe the car is 150bhp according to the Datsun 240z, the car pulls very very well, it's very quick for a big saloon car and surprisingly practical, it will seat 5 people comfortably and the boot is huge, enough for atleast 6 body bags lol! The car is pretty damn low and will go even lower! good thing about it is that its very driveable even though its decked, I take it over huge speedbumps and it only receives minor scrapes, the whole drivetrain is tucked up in the belly so pretty cool low rider and even if it is something to hit there is a huge chunky anti-roll bar protecting the sump. THERE IS VERY LITTLE OR NO RUST! shell is very good condition, it was previously owned by Garage-D I was told. According to the old 'For Sale thread' I believe Garage-D had fully serviced it including the box and rear diff and since then it hasn't been used much at all, I must have put 500 miles on it It has a CD player fitted along with the original radio tuner, it has a manual antenna which raises up at the touch of the button(very retro lol) MOT: October 2012 Tax : April 2012 The Car: - 1987 Datsun/Nissan C32 Laurel (Zenki - pre-facelift) - SGL Model - Full Electrics - Tweed Cloth interior (very good condition / no rips or excessive wear) Basic Spec: - 2.4 Litre OHC Straight-Six / L24 Series engine (same as the Datsun 240z) - 64,000-ish on the clock - 5-Speed Manual with Hydraulic clutch (light as feather) - Rear-Wheel Drive Modifications + Bits I done: - Full Nissan S13 conversion (low arms, knuckles, steering arms) - S13 Hubs, Brake Discs and Pads - S13 JIC Adjustable Coilovers - S13 JIC Adjustable Camber Top Mounts - Welded Differential - 15x8j Banded Steels - Straight-through exhaust - Loud Airhorn been installed lol - CD Player with original tuner - New Battery - Replaced 2 tyres - Unseized the front coilovers The Bad Bits: No classic car is complete without it, I'm being picky here, it has minor dings here and there etc as you can expect from a car of this age. Could do with undersealing, I have un-seized the front coilovers cause I lowered it a bit more, not sure if the rears would require un-seizing, it wasn't hard to un-seize though, bit of WD40 worked nicely however the adjusters have seen better days. Apart from the above I cant think of anything else, I might have missed something out, but for the price I'm asking it's a damn friggin' bargain considering the mods it's got, all it needs is an owner willing to takecare of rough edges or go drifting cause this is ideal. SOLD! Located in Leicester since taking these pics, the car has been lowered more FRESH PICS! Ah my mate Isbell used to own this car at some point, don't think Garage D ever owned it though as he bought it from up North way...... Nice car!
i wanted this the last time it was for sale... dont suppose your after an e46 2.8 loon with welder coilys and dishy steering wheel?
Not what I'm after dude, thanks for the offer I already have someone local bringing over a MX5 for a possible PX tomorrow Maybe I'm confusing who owned it in the past, its certainly has been in circulation, who is Fatjags(something like that) pretty sure he was the owner of this car once too. anyways the car is awesome! drives awesome, goes sideways awesome and has not missed a beat, even in 6 inches of snow this car started up first time and was great!... and surprisingly gripped more than I thought it would in snow.
Let me know how that goes mate, mines on 14x8s coilovers, full system and decat, dishy OMP steering wheel, snap off boss, hardtop And could come with a full turbo kit, but would need a bit of money my way....
Fat nuts He worked at garage D I got it off him :-) he got it offa guy who got it off a guy lol it's a shhhhlaaaaaag car lol
You mean Fatnuts, he's my mate who I bought it off and then sold back to him, so the last name on the log book was mine Hahaha she's been round the block a few times But definately one of my most favourite cars, if I had the monies I would be biting your arm off
none, small surface scabs here and there due to the age of the car, but nothing I have come across that need attention, apart from getting it undersealed Yes it is, PM'd you back All PM's replied
more pics as some people requested, the last pic at the bottom is of the boot floor(as you can see its solid) the car has odd scabs here and there, but nothing major at all, just being as honest as I can. these pics have been edited into the original post too Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr Untitled by mcmlxxxv_ssr, on Flickr
