No rot as such as its never been registered in the UK and it's got that much Schultz on it that it could survive a salt bath .. It starts and runs sweet as a nut most things seem to work although the electrics leave a lot to be desired... I think a weekend cleaning up some of the earths for the lights and indicators wouldn't go amiss.. It's definite Track and Drift inspired and it goes via the theme less is more.. It's noisy it's bumpy it's pretty much full on outrageous drift tastic.. I bought it originally to drift in, and was told that it was literally ready to go although it starts and runs it is far from ready to go it needs a check over most of the brakes need cleaning up and more importantly the boost control system either needs scrapping or fixing. The car only Pull's 0.4 bar of boost and can't be altered due to the fact that the Greddy controller is seized. At this boost level it pulled 162 bhp on the dyno last week.. Again I was told that this car was approximately 350+ bhp but as you can see that is not the case. I'm sure at 1.2 or 1.4 bar of boost it probably is but the car currently is not pulling that kind of boost. All the other high spec components on the car you can visually see so they can be quite easily confirmed however I was told that the diff was a 1.5 Cusco but saying that I've not had it apart and cannot confirm this however I can confirm that it locks up easily and skids very easily.. I'm currently too busy with a new work project to spend time either checking, fixing, redoing or getting the car into a current state so that it can be used. The car has many high spec good parts on it and these can be seen in the list for sale Bellow... The original plan was to buy something that can be used out of the box and this is not the case with this car so I'm looking to sell this car quickly and cheaply and to move on and to buy a car finished. I'd be more than happy to pay more money on top of this car as a part exchange against one that I could use at the weekend.. Already have first refusal on cage boys, believe I was the first too, just hope Chris is a man of his word
Correct if broken cage spoken for !! Gearbox is a mint sr20 jap spec - This is a sales thread for the car ... At the moment Thanks
I'm confused, this seems like a megabargain but nobody's had it yet? Is it unregisterable or something? any dodgy crash repairs? Is it painted with bedliner too?
As far as I'm aware it's regusterable definitely no dodgy crash repairs- it's a very good solid shell hence why it was chosen in the first place. The pain't work is definitely not everyone's cup of tea but it certainly won't rot with all that Schultz on ..lol I'm shocked at the price that I've nor had more interest but it's not the best advert I'll admit .....and I'm sure with a clean up and the front bumper on it - with some nice wheels and a Dyno print out for 350+ BHP - it will attract more attention .. I'm using it this weekend do I'll see how I get on - then I'll refresh the advert with better pics and some proper power figs. Thanks for the interest ..
