200 sx ideling problem

    My 200 sx has started ideling real low iv tried vac leaks and replaced MAF but now am stuck any ideas ??

    Idle control valve?

    Yep I've replaces it no difference :/

    sloppily adjusted throttle cable? leak in the intake manifold?

    How what u find out if thre was a hole in the inlet manifold spray easy start around the area ?

    spray wd40 round it if revs pick up then bingo theres ur leak

    Just double checking u mean the intake manifold on the left hand side looking from the front ?

    yes, where the air goes into the engine after fucking about with your turbo and intercooler. You say "started" idling low, when? had you done any work to the car?

    Have you actually checked your idle control valve as has been suggested? they tend to get bunged up and its not a hard job to spray some carb cleaner in there.

    Yes iv replace the idle control valve it's not that and it just started out off the blue I have spray Wd in between the engine and the inlet and it does rev up ??

    i had the same problem, it was the valve at the (front) end of the inlet manifold if you take it off there are small screws holding it together undo them and inside theres a spring mine was snapped, i fix it and it was sorted, defo worth a look
