A friend attempted to fit a hydro to a 5 series and said he hit a complication, apparently the brake lines runner opposite corners? Ie you tap into the brake lines hit the hydro and one wheel at the rear and front lock!!!

Anyone else come across this? If so is there a simple way around it?

The car I'm interested in putting a hydro in is a 2001 Z3

Talk to jeek and the boys at chizfab, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Fuck knows what your mates done
Z3 is basically an e36 and we've fitted plenty hydros to them.
Early ones have one line that runs to the rear and tees off to either side so that's a no brainer.
Late ones have 2 lines running to the rear (slightly cleverer abs / tc system) but just join them into one line into the hydro and again fit a tee at the rear to go to either side.
